Fontainebleau Miami Beach

 
 

Comprising a 20-acre enclave opposite the Intracoastal Waterway, midway between South Beach's thriving nightlife scene and sultry Bal Harbor, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach has been memorialized in song and literature. This Miami Beach icon sits at the top of the heap for well-heeled business and leisure travelers in search of a flamboyant full-service hotel.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is comprised of four towers. The Chateau Tower houses the main lobby and the majority of the dining and drinking options, Versailles Tower is a small annex, Tresor Tower boasts its own lobby, and Sorrento Tower houses all-suite options and the popular Italian restaurant, Scarpetta. The resort boasts over a dozen restaurants, bars, and lounges, and even a velvet-roped nightclub. A quartet of signature dining rooms come with celebrity chefs.

Hotel Amenities:

  • Ten dining options, including four signature dining rooms, and room service
  • Nine bars & lounges, including the famous nightclub LIV
  • Eleven pools with lounge chairs and poolside service, plus cabanas for rent
  • Beach chairs for Fontainebleau guests

Are you interested in extending your stay or bringing your family?

You are welcome to extend your stay, bring your family, or both - subject to availability. The MacArthur incentive package includes one lead traveler and one guest for four nights, so any costs associated with these options will be the responsiblity of the traveler; points cannot be used to cover any additional costs. 

Extension nights are $650 per room per night, based on availability, which includes the nightly rate, daily hotel fee, and taxes. Additional costs for a transfer back to the airport, incremental airfare, plus a $25 service fee per person, are not included, and will vary based on availability when your registration is received. During registration, choose the extension option and specify the number of nights. Travel One will check with the hotel for availablity and contact you with the flight options and any additional costs due.

You can add your family members to your hotel reservation (4 people max per room, regardless of age) at an additional cost of $285 per person for 4 nights, which includes the nightly rate, porterage, taxes, and roundtrip transportation between the Miami airport and Fontainebleau. The cost for the airfare will be dependent on current pricing when registration is received, plus a $25 ticketing fee. During registration, choose the family option and provide full legal names, gender, and date of birth for your family member(s) joining you. Travel One will contact you with the flight options and the additional costs.

Answer: 		   Can I bring additional friends or family members? 
Yes, you are welcome to add friends or family to your room, at your own expense. The MacArthur package includes one adult and one guest, so costs for any additional travelers are your responsibility. Adding a person to your hotel room at Fontainebleau costs $285 per person, which includes the four nights hotel stay, porterage, taxes, and roundtrip transportation between the Miami airport and the hotel. The cost for the airfare and a $25 per person service fee is additional, and airfare prices will vary based on airline inventory at the time of ticketing. During registration, you can add your family member(s) names.

If you would like to purchase an additional room for friends or family members, you will need to wait until registration has closed and all qualified customers have been allotted their room(s). Contact Travel One (incentives@traveloneinc.com or 800-247-1311) to add your name to the wait list to be notified if any rooms remain. Travel One will contact people in December in the order they were added to the wait list.

Answer: 		   Can I extend my stay?
Yes, you can extend your stay at your own expense. If you would like to stay at the Fontainebleau, the cost is $650 per room per night (double occupancy), based on availability. This cost includes the nightly rate, daily hotel fee, and taxes. Costs for incremental airfare or return transportation to the airport are not included. When registering, note on your registration that you are interested in extending. Once Travel One has checked hotel availability, they will contact you with information and additional costs. Extension nights are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Answer: 		   Can I upgrade my hotel room or airline flights?
Yes, both options are based on availablity and are at your own expense. You can add a note in the ‘Special Requests’ question on the registration form and Travel One will be in touch once availability has been checked and/or confirmed.

Question:
Answer: 		   Are food and drinks included with my trip?
Although the Fontainebleau is not all-inclusive, each person who qualified for the program will receive a Visa gift card to use towards lunch, dinner, and drinks. A private breakfast buffet at the hotel is included as part of the MacArthur package, at no additional cost to you.

Question:
Answer: 		   How will I get to/from the airport and hotel?
Your trip includes group transfers between the Miami airport and the Fontainebleau Hotel. When you land in Miami and have retrieved your luggage, follow the signs to the exit and look for Travel One staff or our local suppliers holding MacArthur Co. signs. They will direct you to your transfer vehicle. There will be more specific details included in your travel documents being mailed to you 2-3 weeks prior to your departure.

Question:
Answer: 		   I only qualified for one trip/couple, but would like to purchase another package to bring more people. Is that possible?
If you would like to purchase an additional room in Miami, you will need to wait until registration has closed and all qualified customers have been allotted their room. Question:
Answer: 		   What identification do I need to board my flight?
When traveling on a domestic flight, all adults over the age of 18 are required to show a government issued photo ID, such as a drivers license or a passport. A REAL ID is not required until May 2023. Click here to visit the TSA website showing a list of valid identification options.

Answer: 		   What activities are available in the Miami Beach area?
Miami is known for a wide range of activities and entertainment. Besides their spectacular beaches, world-renowned hotels, restaurants, and nightlife, there are outdoor adventures, cultural excursions, water sports, and more.
  • Kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board in Oleta River State Park.
  • See the dunes, mangroves, and seagrass beds at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center.
  • Sail through Biscayne National Park, which is 95% underwater and includes the Florida Reef, the only living coral barrier reef in the U.S., and one of the largest in the world.
  • Hike the Everglades National Park.
  • Glimpse the local Art Deco architecture on a walking tour.
  • Sip wine and beer made from local fruits at Schnebly Redland’s Winery & Brewery.

Travel One will be sending an email to all participants in early 2022 with a link to pre-book activities while in Miami. We recommend booking these in advance in order to ensure availability as March is a busy time in Miami. However, you are welcome to wait and book on-site with our local partner once you arrive at the Fontainebleau.
